Lovely home-cooked fresh food. Reasonable prices, value for money. Friendly & efficient management & staff Well worth a visit, not pretentious like most chain restaurant/pubs.

Came for lunch, delicious food. Wild boar sausages were cracking! Brilliant beer and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Great summer garden Will be coming back here again!

I had lunch there on Saturday for the first time under the new owners and it was very nice. The place was warm, the log fire was roaring away, food was very nice, staff were friendly. Pretty much what you would want from a local country pub.
